About the Captive State 💬

• This is no longer our planet.

An extraterrestrial force occupies the world, enslaving humanity under the guise of peaceful unity.

• They promised us peace and prosperity. The price was captivity.

Chicago Police Officer William Mulligan (John Goodman), who is tasked with uniting the world against the extra-terrestrial enemy. He recruits Gabriel Drummond (Ashton Sanders), the young son of a fallen soldier who joined a rebel group called Phoenix.

• Ten years ago, they took our planet. Today, we take it back.

Set in a Chicago neighborhood nearly a decade after an occupation by an extra-terrestrial force, ''CAPTIVE STATE'' explores the lives on both sides of the conflict - the collaborators and dissidents.
