THE SECRET OF MOONACRE is an enchanting tale of magic and epic adventure, following the quest of 13-year-old orphan Maria Merryweather (Dakota Blue Richards) who is sent away to live with her uncle Sir Benjamin (Ioan Gruffudd) in the mysterious Moonacre Manor.

When Maria Merryweather's father dies, she is forced to leave her luxurious London life and live with Sir Benjamin, an eccentric uncle, at the mysterious Moonacre Manor.

Soon Maria finds herself in a crumbling moonlit world torn apart by the hatred of an ancient feud with the dark and sinister De Noir family. She also comes to understand the role she was born to play in saving the family she has never known and the magical valley she has just discovered: Maria is the Moon Princess, and she has only until the next full moon to uncover the secret that can undo an ancient curse placed on her family for its past misdeeds. But to succeed, to save Moonacre Valley and to find the love of a family she has never known, Maria must learn to overcome her stubborn pride.

Now, Maria must unearth the secrets of her past before the 5000th moon rises and Moonacre Manor disappears into the sea forever...
