THE WAITER is a subtle black humor story about a very peculiar person...

The feature-length debut of Greek director, actor, screenwriter, producer, advertiser, and dramaturge Steve Krikris, is an existential modern noir seven years in the making. A character study. A murder story in a paradoxical way. 40-something Renos (Aris Servetalis) is a professional waiter, ambiguous, loner, yet a meticulous observer of people. Introverted and lonely waiter Renos' quiet and meticulously punctual routine life is turned upside down by the sudden disappearance of his neighbor Milan (Antonis Myriagos).

''The Blond'' (Yannis Stankoglou) and Tzina (Chiara Gensini), two people who had relations with Milan, will lead Renos to an extreme ride that will alter his well-kept routine and test his ability and willingness to change his life over matters of love and death.

As the relation between Renos and the two develops the thin line of secrecy will break. Will Renos be able to follow through?
