About Alice T. 💬

The heavy reality of being pregnant adds another burden to the already problematic life of adopted child Alice Tarpan (Andra Guti). For the bullheaded teenager, this extraordinary situation provides just another excuse for acting up, but it deeply affects her relationships with everyone around her, especially her mother Bogdana (Mihaela Sirbu).

Being an endless source of problems and affected by the specter of her mother's disappointments, Alice acts with her back against the wall, forging lies and blurring lines between the fiction she designs for herself and the reality of her existence. One of the prominent figures in the Romanian New Wave, Radu Muntean, tackles complicated issues such as adoption, teenage pregnancy, abortion, parent-child relationships, and unconditional love.
