About A Simple Plan 💬

After three friends find a crashed plane in the woods with a dead pilot and millions of dollars, they hatch a plan.

• They've worked hard all their lives, but they still can't afford the American Dream. Stealing it is even better.

Minnesota. Winter. Hank (Bill Paxton) and Jacob Mitchell (Billy Bob Thornton) and their pal Lou (Brent Briscoe) find a downed single-engine plane buried in the snowy woods.

• Four million dollars and plenty of change.

Inside it is a decaying pilot and a bag carrying four million dollars in one-hundred-dollar bills. The men decide to hide the money until spring when the snow is melted and the plane is found. If no one notices the missing money at that time, they will split it and live a wealthy new life. A simple plan, right? Wrong. Captivated by the lure of sudden wealth, their quiet rural lives erupt into conflicts of greed, paranoia and distrust. And nothing goes as planned...
