About the Wildling 💬

She may be the last survivor of an ancient species as endangered as it is dangerous: the WILDLING.

Since birth, Anna (Bel Powley) has been raised in isolation by a mysterious man she knows only as 'Daddy' (Brad Dourif) who has done everything possible to conceal the truth about the girl’s origins from her. He makes her fear the 'Outside' by telling her of the WILDLING, a creature with sharp teeth and claws who roams about eating little children. But at 16, she is rescued by a small-town sheriff Ellen Cooper (Liv Tyler) and for the first time in her life experiences the outside world, soon learning there's no such thing as the WILDLING.

Her greatest ordeal is yet to come.

Unable to adjust to a normal life, Anna finds herself drawn instead to the wild freedom of the forest while struggling to resist the growing bloodlust that has awakened inside her. Ellen becomes suspicious - is Anna the cause or the victim?

WILDLING is the new German director Fritz Böhm's feature debut.
