About the Wildlife 💬
WILDLIFE commits to the viewpoint of a teenage boy observing the gradual dissolution of his parents' marriage.
Based on the Richard Ford novel, set in Montana in the fall of 1960, WILDLIFE is a portrait of a family unraveling. 14-year-old Joe Brinson (Ed Oxenbould) watches his parents' marriage implode after his father loses his job. A painful tale of adolescent observation in a world where grown-ups behave like children and children are forced to act like adults.
''People like to come in here to remember something good that's happening in their lives. They wanna make that happy moment permanent.''
