Although I really respect Susan Sarandon as a consummate actress …. I dont care for Sean Penn. However that is not why Dead Man Walking is not one of my favorite movies. The movie was way too long, Mr. Penn's character was never shown as a truly remorseful, sympathetic character. Mr. Penn always too intense for me .. he always gets in his own way. You know - the movie is about Sean Penn not Ms Prejean and what she was trying to do.
